New Australian hotel selects its casino vendor

The Crown Sydney Hotel Resort, one of the most highly-anticipated new hotels coming up in Australia, has selected IGT as its casino management system vendor. International Game Management PLC, or IGT, recently announced that its IGT ADVANTAGE system, which has won numerous awards, will be in place at the Crown, which is scheduled to open in Sydney in early 2021.

The casino management system will help to improve the user experience at the hotel’s casino, with live and electronic table games (ETG’s) being connected through it at the exclusive VIP casino. IGT will also install the M5 Service Window technology on these ETGs.

The IGT ADVANTAGE system is one of the best in the business, having some of the deepest and most robust modules in the casino industry, with the ability to seamlessly integrate third party apps and technology as well to allow casino operators to personalize the player’s experience, as well as streamline and improve the operational elements of the casino.

The M5 technology is based on the industry-standard HTML language, allowing the casino to be able to customize the banner and Service Window views, allow the ETG screen to be fully used by showing ads, bonus content and promotions based on the specific player’s profile. It also helps reduce lines at the various kiosks and desks, which will allow for social distancing measures to be implemented at this time.

The Crown Sydney Hotel will mark the first casino to be opened in Australia in over a decade, and it will also be the first six-star hotel in the city, with views of the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. It will have 349 rooms and suites, along with restaurants, bars, retail outlets, conference rooms, a pool and spa facilities.

According to the Crown Resorts management, IGT ADVANTAGE was selected due to its flexibility and efficiency, which will allow the hotel to deliver the best gaming experience for their patrons.
